Beautiful property but needs better upkeep

Liked:The Lobby area was beautiful when I initially entered. The front desk agent was very nice.

Disliked:The Lobby area although beautiful was not clean. There were dead bugs all over the floor leading to the dining area on one day. The floors of both elevators were nasty, there were spills in both that left a sticky residue that remained our entire stay. The hall on our floor had items on the floor that were there when we arrived and remained when we left. It was a beautiful property but needs to be cleaned.

I didn’t stay here

Liked:I booked this hotel for my son‘s birthday of our arrival I was told that the pool was not working I no longer wanted to stay there because that was the reason of the pool however I booked through booking so I asked the front desk lady if I would be able to get a refund or a credit because the pool was not working she said I had to reach out to booking which idea booking representative spoke with the front desk staff and said I was OK to leave and that my reservation will be canceled. I do have proof that my reservation was canceled and if the cameras were to be ran back you will see that I did not stay at this hotel however I still had to pay. I was not refunded or compensated in any kind of way this is not fair

Disliked:I should have been refunded or compensated for not staying at the hotel I should not have been made to pay 300
