Some good things but maybe needs a bit of maintenance and clarification on roof top cameras use.

Liked:The building was old but charming and the welcome was very nice

Disliked:There wasn’t a light by the bed and there were cameras on the roof by the sun beds that moved when I was there. I frequently found my door and windows completely open or unlocked after cleaning. Shower was like a tap with no spray to speak of.

It was fine but I have stayed in much better in Essouria for less or same price.

Liked:It was clean and mattress was comfortable

Disliked:I didn’t like having to leave my room to access my bathroom especially at night I would have preferred an ensuite (this is not made clear on booking) The eco lights were frustrating if you were in the middle of something and they went off as happens always, my kettle did not work, there are security cameras everywhere I have stayed in Essouria 6 times now and have never known anything like it, even outside one that shouts at you if your too close to the door. Breakfast was exactly the same every morning no variety, not even asked if we would like our eggs different. And 2 very strange things, my friend left her lamp on when we went out and when she came back it had been switched off so someone entered her room to do this, and the shower gel and shampoo I brought with me suddenly diminished more than I was using it very odd…..I wish also they would use quilts on the beds instead of old style sheets and blankets not quite sure all those big thick blankets were washed and dried between guests…..

Satisfactory.

Liked:Its clean and good location, I was checked it earlier and was allowed to leave my stuff and that is a big bonus and kind owner and all clean and quiet.

Disliked:So so so humid and the smell of humidity, for me it was very difficult to sleep even, no windows as all as they go inside the riad as it usually and the sockets worked weirdly and couldn’t get the kettle going as sockets just didn’t work.
