Fake 'Holiday Inn'

Liked:It has not been a Holiday Inn for a year according to the front desk agent. The pool is closed, breakfast is a muffin and coffee, wifi is unusable. Why is it listed as a Holiday Inn? Are there no consequences for misrepresentation in this country anymore?

Stay somewhere else.

Liked:We were put up here by American after a delayed flight. The American agent thought we were getting the Holiday Inn O'Hare. The phone number provided got me to the front desk who indicated they were the Holiday Inn. A mini van running once an hour was their "shuttle" The van had a sign on the side window stating Holiday Inn. This motel is NOT a Holiday Inn and is 6 miles from the airport. It is now the Grand Royal Hotel. The place is run down and dirty. The A/C in our room was very loud and did not work well. There was no breakfast. I would not stay here again.

Run for your life

Liked:One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay for the night, the savings is not worth it. The whole place feels abandoned: the bar is shuttered, the pool is empty, the elevator barely works, the carpet is peeling off the floor, the rooms stink—everything is falling apart. American Airlines booked my wife and myself a room here, as our flight was delayed, and we waited over an hour before the hotel shuttle picked us up. Receptionist didn’t answer our phone calls either. Save yourself the trouble.
