Ruined my trip

Disliked:The shower was indescribably bad, i could’ve cleaned quicker and better in a mcdolands sink. We were left with no water at least 80% of our stay. That’s NO water - not even to flush the toilet or wash hands not just the shower. When this was brought up to reception they constantly just told us they were waiting on a water delivery. Advertised as balcony room, quite frankly even if there was enough space to get on the “balcony” it would be unsafe, the railing and floor were both so old you could’ve fallen through either. Not to mention the “view” Bed was as harder then wooden bed frame and Curtains didn’t even cover the window so it was light from around 5am. Aircon while ok was so loud, On top of that the noise outside at night was ridiculous, all night, and it was genuinely ALL night we had motorcycles going past honking, about 100 chickens and dogs screaming all night for one reason or another which was pretty distressing and very loud. Safe to say there wasn’t much sleep had. Can’t flush tissue down the toilet - which would have been fine if we weren’t given a bin with no lid to put used tissue in! Stunk out the room and when I brought it up the cleaner told me to leave it in the hallway!!! shocking wifi Sink was dirty - not cleanable ground in dirt So basically anything you book a hotel for: sleep, shower and to feel safe/ relaxed, this provided none. Do not book this hotel.

Would never book again

Disliked:We booked a room with a quiet street view; when we arrived we were allocated a room without windows; we were lucky that we managed to find another hotel nearby.

Poorly maintained rooms-would not recommend

Liked:Very friendly staff!

Disliked:Initially we had a room, with water leak from the sink and the drain was blocked!! The walls are fool of dump. Once we mentioned, we were moved to a different room where there were not severe problems, but still poorly maintained. We noticed on the reviews that another guest mentioned similar issues with the bathroom, so I guess it was never repaired properly.

Disliked:Couldn’t sleep at night because the chickens at the mountain side kept going cockadoodledoo from 3am in the morning and the shower stopped working so I was handed a bucket of water and ladle
