Slightly rundown but charming BnB

Liked:Felt like a good old-fashioned BnB, a little quirky, slightly rundown, but with very friendly hosts who offered a lovely breakfast.

Disliked:Usually it’s a 3 minute walk from a Dart station, but the Dart wasn’t running the weekend that we were there (which meant a lot of walking back and forth to Dun Laoghaire!) Apparently this happens regularly on weekends. This is not the BnB’s fault of course (!), but it might be worth checking before booking if the Dart is running. If yes, it’s a great location, if not, it’s quite far.

Claremont B&B

Liked:It was a beautiful old B&B .

Disliked:I didn't like the stupid reviews that it got from previous customers. It's an old house , the couple running it are doing it for an income ,they re not tech millionaires.The food was great, the pillows were plentiful and the steps of the stairs were wide . Someone complained about having to lift their suitcases up the stairs .It's a B& B ! The photos showed the size and shape of the house.By the way ,the street parking was free.
