Poor customer service - shuttle wait

Liked:Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was disappointing overall. The room itself was decent and clean, and the dinner service was acceptable, although the restaurant prices were quite high. One thing that was immediately noticeable was the strong smell of marijuana in the lobby, especially near the elevators. It created a very unpleasant first impression and did not reflect the standard we expected from a Hilton property. However, the biggest issue was the airport shuttle service. We waited over 1.5 hours to be picked up from the airport. During that time, I called the hotel more than twice to ask what was happening, and each time I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude from the staff member responsible. She kept saying that the shuttle delay was due to traffic and that she had no control over it. When the shuttle finally arrived, the driver told us that there was only one shuttle in service and that he had taken a break. This explanation did not match what we had been told by the hotel staff. When we arrived at the hotel, I expressed my dissatisfaction, but instead of receiving an apology or any understanding, I was met with an arrogant response. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel. While the rooms were fine, the poor customer service, the extremely long shuttle wait, and the smell of marijuana in the lobby completely overshadowed our stay.
