Overall disappointing and would not stay again,

Liked:Breakfast was fine, good menu choice. Location was also good, lovely village.

Disliked:Room was very disappointing- especially the bathroom/shower cubicle, which was grotty. Room needed a thorough clean and needs updating. Pump outside was noisy, and was firing up during the night.

Liked:Lovely quiet location nice pub great food friendly staff.

Disliked:The bathroom and shower could do with an update maybe get rid of bath and have a walk in shower instead with decent shower head.

Decent facilities, beautiful English village, but why MAGA hat?

Liked:Location is in a beautiful village, very pretty. My room was a very generous size and the bed very comfortable. Given the heat I also really appreciated having a large powerful fan in the room

Disliked:I had two major disappointments with my stay. In the room, the bathroom had a slanted ceiling, which meant it was impossible to have a shower in the room. The second issue was in the pub where breakfast is served and where I had dinner. For some reason there is a Donald Trump MAGA hat on display at the bar. This does not make me feel like this is a welcoming location, and made me incredibly uncomfortable to be staying there.
