Good room which was very clean and well appointed but our problem on arrival let the hotel down.

Liked:It was a good location and very clean.

Disliked:Check in was from 1600hrs, we arrived at about 1700 to find no reception staff on duty and a wait of about 20 minutes before anyone arrived. We tried to ask other staff to call someone but they said they couldn’t. Not a great start when you have been traveling all day and just want to get to your room. When the receptionist arrived there was no apology.

Liked:We arrived by bicycle and appreciated the hotel putting our bikes in a secure location overnight. Communication before and during the stay was good and the room was clean and comfortable. 24/7 reception also useful as we arrived late from the ferry.
