Cancellation

Cancellation terms vary by rate. Flexible rates allow free cancellation up to 24–48 hours before arrival. Non-refundable rates cannot be canceled or modified.

Payment

Prices include the taxes and fees paid when you book. Some hotels charge a resort, city or service fee on arrival; where they do, the amount is shown with each room and at checkout. A valid credit card is required at check-in.

Important Information

Please note that the flights between Mahé and Desroches Island have limited seats and are not included in the rates. Please contact the property directly using the contact details provided in your confirmation to make flight arrangements. A mandatory charge for our New Year’s Eve Celebration applies to all guests staying the night of December 31, 2026. For adults, this charge is included in the nightly room rate. Additional charges for children will be applied to the guest’s final invoice as follows: EUR 550 for children ages 12 to 18; EUR 275 for children ages 5 to 11; complimentary for children ages 4 and under. Prices are subject to 15% VAT and a 10% service charge. Please be advised that The domestic flight to Desroches Island is ONLY operated by Islands Development Company LTD (IDC). Domestic flight bookings can ONLY be processed by our Four Seasons reservations team. Please note that flights operate daily at scheduled times, with increased frequency during peak travel periods. We basically had the beaches to ourselves. We did finally find one pristine Beach with no dead seagrass on the beach, ho

Liked:Deserted beaches.
Disliked:The island is surrounded by seagrass with many areas having dead seagrass washed up on the beach soiling the beach, thus, snorkeling is very poor here because of the seagrass, if you want to see turtles, they do have those and tortoises.

A truly special stay

Liked:We absolutely loved our stay at Four Seasons Desroches. The island is beautiful, peaceful and full of things to discover, and our villa was stunning new, private and extremely comfortable. What made the stay especially memorable was the wonderful staff and the activities. We loved learning more about the island, the tortoises and Creole culture. Nassine was truly special; her passion for her work really comes through and made the experience even more meaningful for us. We have stayed at many beautiful resorts, but Desroches felt particularly complete because it combines nature, activities, privacy and excellent service so well. We really hope to come back soon and of course to see Big Pete and Jeffrey again.

Amazing experience in paradise - special thanks to Netto Thomas for yoga and meditation

Liked:We had a great experience at Desroches. The location is amazing, a true private island in the middle of nowhere. Priceless! Rooms and services are great, top level. I recommend to improve food quality (especially sushi restaurant) and also the gym can be improved (more weights and newer machineries). I want to note that I had yoga and meditation with Netto Thomas, fantastic person and instructor. I want to to truly thank him for the love he puts in his work and for the amazing sessions I had with him. Thank you Desroches, see you next time!

Beautiful, amazing Desroches Island

Liked:We just spent four amazing days at Four Seasons Desroches. There is simply no way to describe the experience. As soon as we stepped off the plane Four Seasons staff greeted us and made us feel like we were a part of their island family. Our initial tour with Sanjay was very informative and gave us an immediate sense of comfort with our surroundings. The island itself is majestic, rustic and all natural. We spent days riding our bikes through what looks like untouched space, exploring the nine different beaches. All of them different and beautiful with rarely another person in sight. Keeping with true Four Seasons luxury; almost each isolated beach was equipped with towels, water, and restroom facilities. Every meal was excellent, with the freshest ingredients and the friendliest staff. Special thanks to Florence and staff at Claudine for making us feel most welcome for each visit. We enjoyed cocktails at the pool bar with Viveck, Regis, Henry and Eric. Dining at the Lighthouse with pre-dinner cocktails is a favorite memory. Our villa was comfortable, immaculately clean, and the perfect place to relax. We also took advantage of the spa for relaxing massages. Lebo and Sendi are masters at their craft. We highly recommend a session to add to the amazing relaxation experience at Desroches. Thank you to Lai Lai for checking in with us throughout our stay and making sure it was always perfect, to Harrison for the infectious smile and the excitement that we chose Desroches, Jithin for contagious energy every day and always remembering everything we liked. Many thanks to Budi and his amazing family of staff for our wonderful visit to Four Seasons Desroches.
