Highlights

+Excellent location (walking distance to shopping/dining, near airport)
+Friendly and accommodating staff
+Clean and spacious rooms / good room layout
+Free hotel shuttle

Could Improve

–Ongoing construction/renovation causing noise and elevator limitations
–Additional charges (parking, expensive bottled water)
–Limited breakfast selection
–Occasional service lapses (delays on requests like crib); isolated bug report

Cleanliness8.6

Multiple guests reported clean, spacious rooms and good housekeeping, though some noted strong-scented room spray and occasional carpet bugs in one room.

Service9.6

Many reviews praise accommodating and exceptional staff and helpful front-desk service; a few incidents (delayed crib delivery, repeated requests regarding construction noise) indicate occasional lapses.

Location9.8

Repeatedly described as excellent — walking distance to shopping/dining and convenient to airport; free shuttle also noted positively.

Room Quality8.4

Guests liked clean, spacious layouts and apartment-style rooms, but some experienced issues (carpet bugs, construction noise affecting comfort).

Amenities8.3

Good basic amenities (free shuttle) and functional facilities; construction impacted elevator availability and there are extra charges (parking, bottled water) that detract somewhat.

Value for Money7.3

Location and service are strengths, but guests called out parking fees, expensive bottled water and disruptions from renovation that reduce perceived value.

Food and Beverage7.8

Limited breakfast selection reported by guests; no major praise for F&B offerings in reviews.

Overall Experience9.8

Most stays were positive with guests willing to recommend or return, driven by location and staff; however, ongoing renovations caused strong negative experiences for a subset of guests.

We had a wonderful night with family before our cruise.

Liked:The pool. Close to restaurants and not far from the port in Miami

A disappointment

Liked:The new room was lovely but see issues below.

Disliked:The new room was lovely but had obviously not been checked before it had its first occupants, us. The bedside lights didn't work, the door deadbolt was faulty, the rear of the shower head wasn't sealed correctly and was squirting the ceiling. The fridge still had some packaging on it and the aircon unit. The sink plug didn't engage and seal. We weren't told we were staying in a building site. The place was a mess and every lift we took we were sharing with construction workers and equipment moving from floor to floor. Constant banging while they were working. The horrific noise from I95 kept us awake why doesn't it have secondary glazing. Breakfast was like being in a school canteen with rows of tables. Food was good though. Sadly we were disappointed overall.
