Heart of Cusco.

Liked:The location, right across from the Qoricancha. Good breakfast.

Disliked:Many rooms are really tiny, hardly a room to open a suitcase. Only a window on the door. No view except from the suite.

Location and Service Outstanding

Liked:The Abittare is a lovely hotel in Cusco and a great location for walking to the beautiful church across the street and the plaza. The nice continental breakfast is a plus. While there recently, I needed help to change my plans and leave immediately for Lima. The staff could not have been nicer, making flight reservations, hotel accommodations at the Lima airport, a taxi to the airport and having a nice lunch delivered to my room while I finished packing. Highly recommend this hotel for your visit to Cusco.

Liked:The staff were truly amazing and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms are small but comfortable, and during our stay we stayed in two different rooms, one near the reception and another further away. In both cases, we found them equally comfortable and well maintained. The location is also excellent, directly opposite the Convent of Santo Domingo (Coricancha), making it a perfect base for exploring Cusco.

Disliked:The only drawback is that all the windows face the corridors. Because the rooms and bathrooms are compact, they tend to retain odours, so airing them out is important. However, doing so means sacrificing privacy, as people passing by the windows can easily look inside. Simple curtains would be the perfect solution, allowing guests to keep the rooms ventilated while maintaining privacy. Despite this minor inconvenience, I will happily stay here when I return to Cusco.

Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. A deposit may be required at the property.
