Lovely stay, in a beautiful place.

Liked:Beautiful property with, elegance and charm. Location was good for Normandy beaches without being too close. Fabulous staff, and good restaurant.

Disliked:Noisy, portable air conditioning units in our attic rooms, rather than integrated AC.

Liked:Friendly and helpful staff, a quiet and peaceful location, daily cleaning, comfortable beds, a well-maintained garden, and a delicious breakfast.

Disliked:You probably need to enjoy staying in old, historic properties to fully appreciate this hotel. Our room had stone floors and walls and small windows, like most rooms in the hotel, which made it feel cold and dark. There was also a musty, old smell in the room and in the furniture, so we did not feel comfortable storing our clothes there. Although the beds themselves were comfortable, the duvets were extremely heavy.
