Not the safest place to stay

Liked:It wasn't too far from the square which we liked considering we went for all of the Vampire Diaries memorabilia. Plus the price was great considering it was very last minute. However we didn't notice at first that there was a damage deposit when we paid. The lady at the front desk was nice and gave my kids suckers when we left and is the only reason we are leaving a star at all.

Disliked:To start our door to our room would not lock which isn't very comforting when you have two small children with you. The deadbolt was about an inch off so we couldn't even lock our door and there was a couple arguing in the parking lot in the middle of the night just screaming at each other. The bathroom door wouldn't shut at all. We had to put the trash can in front of the door and that didn't really help. The cover on the bed was practically just a second sheet and wasn't very comfortable. Underneath the beds looked like they hadn't been swept in ages. Also the lady at the front desk told us it would take 3-5 days for us to receive the damage deposit back in our account but the message I just received says 7-10 business days not including weekends which is basically 2 weeks from when we stayed.

Outside the lady at front desk this site was horrible she deserve a raise and promotion but this site sucks very dirty

Disliked:It was very dirty and roach infested on the 2nd floor and takes too long to return the deposit to my account after checkout I checked out last Thursday today is Monday and my 100$ still haven’t been returned to my card it should never take this long for a refund

Liked:The look of the room ..the location

Disliked:The staff was very difficult. Had a nasty attitude. Made everything complicated. I feel like they hated I booked thru a 3rd party where I was getting discounts because I already had a $100 damage deposit on file instead of using that same deposit for my extended day that said I have to check out and start the process over again...so when they refunded the $100 deposit I told them I didn't have another $100 deposit why refund me when that $100 could of stayed on file. So they wouldn't allow me to get access to the room that was already paid for because they wanted to be difficult. The place would be a great place if the staff or residents wasn't so rude. Oh don't let me forget my car window was busted. And they wouldn't allow me to see the camera. They didn't even care.
