A gem and the staff was so nice.

Liked:This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional and always fresh. The staff were more than friendly and the rooms were so clean. For the price of this stay and the town of Corning was so nice. I highly recommend this if you visiting Watkins Glenn or just want to visit the Finger Lakes area. 20 minute ride to watkins Glenn state park and town.

Fairfield Corning India/Shanghai

Liked:The stray cats in the parking lot made my business trip feel like I was back in Shanghai. Breakfast area was way too small to handle the amount of guests. Room was clean but smelled like my grandfathers basement built in 1908. Early 2000s is showing its age on this property. Needs a refresh. Water refilling station was dripping and could barely get a sip of water after workout.

The little extras make this stay top notch

Liked:This is just a standard Fairfield Inn- small rooms, nice breakfast in the morning... but the small touches the staff add make this a fantastic place to stay. When we were there they had easter eggs hidden around the hotel. If you found one you could spin the wheel for prizes. Also an employee Easter Egg competition. When we've stayed before they've had other small touches that make this more than just a regular overnight stay. Manager is great!!!

Plesently surprized

Liked:We arrived with no expectations and found a pleasant hotel with a friendly, smiling staff eager to help (Steve!). The hotel is well-maintained, clean, and efficient. We even enjoyed the pool and gym (I recommend tightening a few screws on the treadmill to reduce the plastic noise while running). The breakfast is basic but meets expectations, and there are several fast-food restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay, and if I’m in the area again, this hotel will definitely be a great option.
