A good base for exploring lake Como!

Liked:Great location, just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal, trains, and buses. Our room was basic but it had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. The inclusive breakfast was lovely, fresh, and plenty of choice to suit everyone. We ate out of an evening, plenty of restaurants within the immediate vicinity of the hotel. All in all a pleasant 3-night stay with a lovely breakfast included each morning. Not quite as luxurious as is depicted via the online photo’s of the hotel; more accurately a 3-star in my opinion.

An excellent location and wonderful staff.

Liked:The location was excellent, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a great selection and good quality. Our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, and the extra bed provided was surprisingly comfortable as well. Overall, the hotel had a wonderful atmosphere — welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable, which made the stay feel special.

Disliked:I contacted the property more than once to request rooms close to each other, as we were travelling with children, but unfortunately the rooms allocated were some distance apart. We managed, but I feel our request could have been taken into consideration. There was also an occasional sewage smell coming from the bathroom. When we raised this, we were told that it was normal due to the building’s drainage system, so unfortunately we had to live with it during our stay.
