Amazing staff and hospitality - recommended

Liked:Great pool suite with sea view, beach great for swimming and very quiet. Excellent gym and spa. Breakfast very good - lots of fruit and buffet and à la carte options. Nice fresh pressed juices. Our private butler Naomi was amazing - arranging everything and thinking of all the small details- thank you!

Disliked:Nothing really. We did not eat dinner there - too many other options on Island. Steps to beach may not be for everyone - I like a bit of exercise so not an issue.

Hotel gem in Koh Samui

Liked:We had a top floor sea view room with plunge pool - the sun rise was beautiful and we enjoyed the freshness of the pool given the heat and humidity. The room was great for family of three. The resort has a very well equipped gym (lots of weights, mats, cardio equipment etc) and excellent spa. Location is great - central to airport, fishing village etc with an excellent beach for swimming as well as more restaurants and shopping a short grab ride away. We had a half day island tour arranged by the hotel which was fun and transparently and fairly priced. We had Naomi as our contact from checkin to checkout and she was amazing - she took care of so many lovely details - like coconut water in the room when we returned from our trip and helping us get a nice 2-for-1 deal at the spa. She even gave my son a box of his favourite local sweets in check out. This sort of attention and care really made our stay. Last thing - breakfast is great - fresh fruits and cold pressed juices - extensive menu to order from as well as excellent buffet.

Luxurious relaxation in a tropical paradise

Liked:Our stay was absolutely perfect, from the suite with our own sizeable pool, to the beach restaurant and bar. However, and more importantly, I must praise the service. The seamless communication between all departments is astonishingly good. I want to particularly mention Naomi, our utterly brilliant butler who introduced me to some new Thai delicacies, and Piaw who made sure our suite was perfect from day to night and always made sure we had everything we could possibly need or want. Then there's special thanks to the restaurant Panali, and their incredible chefs making deliciously spicy food (if you want it that hot!). Particular praise for Zinedine, a man so brilliant and talented at making spicy margaritas that I will speak and think of them for the rest of my life. Overall, the GM Francois Poletti has achieved the dream of working with an outstanding staff that requires little guidance. After 15 years travelling to Thailand and especially Samui, I was still surprised and learned something new. Respect to the Italian restaurant, absolute perfection and a must try! The location is hard to beat. As wonderful as the hotel is, variety is always good and it's very conveniently located for numerous bars, restaurants and shops which are a short walk or taxi ride away. A superb base to discover the area.

Simply stunning

Liked:Simply stunning. First class from start to finish. The staff were amazing; the location is stunning and the villas are beautiful. From Chika looking after the resort, to Romi (our butler), to Smile and Mai at the spa - everyone made a lasting impression. We’ll be back.
