Not cute. Not quaint.

Liked:In Charlottetown, relatively cheap

Disliked:Host appears to detest guests. While we never saw her, she maintained a ghostly presence. She sends copious amounts of rules, prior to arrival & leaves passive aggressive notes everywhere. On arrival she communicates by texts which alternate between being abrupt & sickly sweet. I felt like I was in a youth hostel in 1970s. TVs have neither antenna nor cable connection - you are expected to stream your own content (I don't have a Canadian cable service). The bath had no plug, the window had a sheer but no blind, the bedside lamp had no bulb.... But I doubt that she would accept any criticism. However, it is clean-ish & guests bond with each other over battle scars with her.

Liked:Location and affordability.

Disliked:There were air fresheners that were very strong smelling in both the common area and the room.

Had good potential but is set up with cheap beds and suffered from lack of maintenance.

Liked:It was in a decent neighbourhood.

Disliked:The breakfast cost extra and was awful. The bread was wet in the bag, the milk was sour and clumpy and the stove was not available to cook the eggs. Definitely not worth it. There was mold in the shower and the shower plumbing was falling apart. The beds were very poor. The yard was poorly maintained.
