We loved the room, the staff, the breakfast and the lounge.

Liked:Breakfast was an excellent buffet. The lounge area was very nice. The room was great and the kitchen was very nice. The best way to describe everything is to say this is a Marriott Hotel. Excellence is the Marriott way.

Disliked:The parking was less than desireable, although it didn't create any major problems, only inconveniences. Considering it is located in the heart of the University of Virginia, parking must be at a premium.

A confortable, clean hotel perfectly situated in the heart of everything.

Liked:Pretty much everything. The pool was awesome, the breakfasts options were great, and the staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Disliked:Beds were uncomfortably stiff. I woke up with a stiff back both mornings.
