Surprising oasis

Liked:Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. A surprising oasis surrounded by university buildings. Valet parking, at $15/night, was a bit off-putting, didn’t recall that being noted. Bar seemed nice but had no food option. Separate, unaffiliated restaurant with same name was pleasant and convenient for breakfast.

Welcoming and Beautiful

Liked:The Oakhurst Inn is undoubtedly the Charlottesville hotel with the most attractive interior design. Everything about it was comfortable and artistic, and the front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. It is easily accessible from the train station and a short walk from the historic part of the University of Virginia grounds. It would be at the top of my list should I need a hotel room in Charlottesville again.

Staycation Heaven

Liked:Perfect staycation during the winter! With a pending snow storm, Oakhurst Inn welcomes you with a beverage of wine, or beer and non-alcoholic options. There's fireplaces in each building in a warm and inviting library. Complimentary coffee and tea in lobby and each library. And the Café, 5 Stars plus. Delicious!

Wonderful hotel, quiet yet near everything

Liked:Wonderful to read by the fire in the semiprivate lounge just outside our room. Nice staff, lovely clean room, location is a quiet enclave yet walking distance to UVA, restaurants, attractions. We loved it!
