It just felt like it was being run by university students as part of the curriculum and missed the professionalism of a

Disliked:When we arrived there were a few things happening out in the street and in the reception area at same time, there was only one staff member on the desk with a trainee (2nd day in the job), so check- in all felt a bit rushed. We were allocated a room above the cafe so had to drive back out of the complex and around the block to get to our building, which meant we had to park in an undesignated area to unload our car - valet parking took a while to move the car from an area that we should not have been parked in. Access to the room was through the (then) closed cafe - the stairs leading up to the room from the cafe were very narrow for a car load of luggage! I had also contacted the hotel back in April to request a bottle of champagne to be in the room on arrival - my husband and I were celebrating our 25 wedding anniversary - I had received confirmation that this would be arranged - it was not which was disappointing. We were also woken just before 7am the next morning by the cafe staff setting up to open that morning!
