Big disappointment, not luxurious

Liked:I will be honest the pictures do not fit the actual experience here. I have stayed in chain hotels such as Marriott and Hilton that do not tout themselves as resorts that have more amenities and better customer service. A) After a 5-hour flight the front desk staff was completely rude and not welcoming at all —basically was like pulling teeth to get information out of this individual b) AC did not work in room and as we entered room was at 90 degrees. Mgr gave us a $50 dining credit and though the AC got fixed “that time” we had issues with it our entire stay c) Garbage and cigarette butts all over property and at pool d)Service in restaurants (when open) horrible. You had to basically flag someone down — wait staff extremely inattentive e)we were supposed to stay a week, needed to get “manager approval” to check out early — I called 3 different times and went in person to front desk — it took a full day to get a hold of the mgr f) Hotel towels dingy and grey — not white g)paint peeling and lots of wear and tear in the rooms - and apparently we were at the luxury “Beach Club” side I would not stay here again. There were a couple staff people who were trying a bit harder, but overall the vibe of this resort is apathetic customer service, If they cleaned up the property and updated the room w/fresh paint and got new towels, improved staff training and had better restaurants, the location has huge potential. It’s sad as really there isn’t much in Mt Pleasant hotel-wise. Very sorry this is such a negative review, but I don’t want people to make same mistake we did by staying there and expecting something different.

Exceptional, highly recommend🌴

Liked:We had so many amazing experiences and will definitely stay again. Raschica and her staff were exceptional!!. The view from our balcony facing the marina with all the marina activity was breathtaking and fun. The Fish House restaurant was delicious every time we went. The service at the pool was extremely appreciated. The food and the view from the pool of the harbor was again wonderful. I almost forgot to mention the marina. They were also very friendly and helpful. The resort has shuttles from the hotel into the downtown area. They even have on site parking. Walking in the front door was beautiful with all the palm trees and the friendly staff members waiting to assist us to begin our adventures.
