Confusing management, but overall clean and quite

Liked:Exceptionally quite residential area, clean pool, close to the beach, quite and potent AC.

Disliked:I arrived at the apartment I had booked late at night with my digital key already activated, only to discover that the apartment number did not exist. After calling the reception at Hotel Donna, I was informed for the first time that my reservation had been moved to a completely different apartment complex approximately 20 minutes away on foot. I had received no prior notification of this change. When I arrived at the new location, the digital key still did not work, forcing me to walk to the reception at yet another building before finally obtaining access. From my initial arrival at the booked address, to walking to the new building, then to reception, and finally back to the apartment, the entire ordeal took approximately 90 minutes, well after midnight. To make matters worse, the receptionist informed me that the apartment I had originally booked was not available. This confirms that my reservation was changed without my knowledge or consent. The new unit assigned had quite a bit of sand on the floor when I entered. Thankfully I did get an apartment in the building booked. However the lack of communication, the unnecessary walking with luggage late at night, the non-functioning digital key, and the significant delay in accessing accommodation caused considerable inconvenience and stress. This experience falls well below the standard I expected when making a reservation.

Liked:Location was good.

Disliked:Check in experience is ridiculous, makes no sense, lots of misleading info on the platforms, no reception at the apartments, it says parking available yet when you reach the property its all full. I would not recommend this place.

Disappointed

Liked:Very close to the beach. Pool was a bonus.

Disliked:You have to register and pick up the keys at one location and walk, with all your luggage, 20-25 mins to the actual apartment! It was quite ridiculous! Maybe I missed seeing this in the write-up but in this day and age there are better ways to manage rental suites. Also, the gate into the complex was broken, and had been for a long time, making me feel unsafe. And one more irritant, the tv remote did not work and I wasn't walking back to the office for a remote.

Liked:It was clean

Disliked:The check-in location is 20 minutes away. I had to pick-up the keys late at night in a different location. I called an uber there and when I asked what transportation they offered from the check-in place back to accommodation they told me there was a bus in front. Because it was late and I am a woman who was traveling with several suitcases I waited for the bus as it was impossible to walk. The bus never came after 1h. I asked reception and they told me to call an uber from the app FreeNow as it wasnt their problem. A 80 something euros stay turned into over a hundred euros just in logistics to check-in. I asked for the refund of these expenses as I wasnt informed about them and they not only refused it but also mocked me for asking. There isnt ANY security in the accommodation. No reception, no locked gates, you can just walking in freely. You and those with poor intentions. Additionally, the rooms dont have AC which made it very hard to sleep in the heat. Insulation is also non-existent. I could hear the surrounding rooms using the bathroom with way too much detail, snoring, coughing and even having passionate activities. I couldnt rest at all and ended up leaving the next day. When checking-out the reception was closed again and they wanted me to travel again to the space of check-in, which I refused so I just put the key in an envelope under the door of the reception, their problem not mine.
