Liked:Staff was amazing in the gift shop, front desk, chandlers. Everyone was so nice and attentive!

Hotel with a lot of hidden fees and no breakfast

Liked:The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean, the carpets could have been a little cleaner. I did not like that the hotel charged us $40 for parking or $45 for valet, per day. The parking lot was the only place to park and all guests are obliged to park and pay. So this fee is not fair. I also found it un necessary to charge a resort fee of $35.00. The receptionist told us it was for the pool, chairs, and towels.... this should be included in the $250.00 a night cost of the room. Also, no continental breakfast was provided, only a coffee station.

Would love to go to Cape Rey again!

Liked:Resort was beautiful, very clean. Loved the perks of valet, shuttles, spa and beach supplies (chairs, towels). Valets were very helpful. Pool and exercise room were nice, clean and great to get drinks and food delivered to pool. Restaurant was overpriced for quality of food though.

Not quite the experience promised

Liked:Most of the staff were lovely and very accommodating- shout out to Michelle for a super smooth check in. I was a little bummed with how crowded the outdoor space was and the limited dining accommodations. Online it mentioned 5 restaurants... perhaps it needs to be updated? The single restaurant onsite wasnt quite the family friendly experience we were hoping for and had to leave the hotel multiple times per day for various meals. I was also take aback by the amount of holds that were put on my card, more than doubling my initial quote.
