Lovely sea view

Liked:Great location, nice large room with lovely sea view. The little extras outside the room were also appreciated.

A great place to stay

Liked:This is a lovely place to stay. It is beautifully and thoughtfully kitted out with quality items - great hairdryer, towels, etc. The courtyard is a little oasis. Very near the esplanade but not noisy. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Disliked:There was nothing not to like

Liked:The room was spotless. It was beautifully decorated and really big. We loved the room.and the balcony.

Disliked:The only issue was the amount of stairs we had to climb. We both have walking difficulties and there were 51 stairs in total to our room. There was a lift for one room and no lift to our room. We didn't know there were that many stairs. Apart from that it was fabulous.

Lovely hotel with a good location for the coastal path

Liked:Lovely clean, stylish rooms with nice touches which make it feel non-institutional. Lovely soft throw. Really enjoyed sitting on the ledge by the balcony door looking out over the pretty patio. Lovely location for the coastal path from Penarth to Barry (and beyond) with train back.

Disliked:Was generally quiet apart from the staff early morning talking loudly which meant I missed the option to lie in. It’s a minor point on an otherwise perfect stay.
