Lovely room, disappointing service

Liked:I received a free upgrade to a panoramic suite, which was great. I had a perfect view to the sea and the yachts, the room was very spacious, clean. Breakfast was very good. I also used the free shuttle service to get to the train station.
Disliked:I had a very unpleasant check out situation which unfortunately decreased my opinion of the hotel. I asked for an invoice and was refused, told that I should ask Booking.com. I travel often and I know that it should be the property providing it, which I politely said, but the staff member seemed annoyed and was unhelpful, refused to do anything. I had to raise the issue with Booking.com afterwards and as a result the property sent me the invoice. This is not the level of service I expected from Marriott Bonvoy.

Will not stay there again.

Liked:Staff very helpful and friendly - that was about it.
Disliked:The room facilities such as Mini Bar as listed in Booking.com was non existent, nothing in fridge, no refreshments, soft drinks, milk for coffee etc. Air Conditioner did not work and TV kept dropping out. For a Marriott classed hotel this was very disappointing and no value what so ever for amount paid. Had better amenities in out back Qld Motels.
