Liked:- great location right on the beach at Haystack rock - great amenities; daily bonfire with smores, coffee in the lobby, fresh cookies daily, different activities for different days of the week - updated, clean rooms

Disliked:- make sure you request a beachfront room or a room on a higher level for a view/balcony. A beachfront standard king room with a balcony and a standard king room with a porch overlooking the parking lot are priced the same but the value is wildly different.

Disliked:No privacy, you can hear your neighbors. Door closing from other rooms were very loud.

Excellent location, well overpriced.

Liked:I had occasion to stay with my family at this property for 5 nights while recently attending a medical conference. It adjoins Cannon Beach with excellent beach access and views of the rock formations. Some rooms with stunning views of the beach and rocks, some with virtually no view at all. Staff was generally gracious and helpful. My room was not very impressive to say the least. Very small and sparsely furnished, no dedicated work area or desk. Price of the room greatly exceeded the value. Based on price alone I would not return to this property. I certainly do not mind paying for expensive lodging and frequently stay in such properties. However the value of the accommodation must be consistent with the price and this property certainly was not.
