Liked:We had a wonderful experience at the University Arms. The rooms were luxurious. Breakfast delicious. One follow up- the chaise lounge was badly stained (see photos). Would not have expected in a 5 star hotel

Liked:Tastefully decorated lots of open spaces for relaxing. Located a few minutes walk from the main shopping area. The Classic twin room was large and gorgeous and the bathroom was spacious and sumptuous. Nice touches, complimentary chocolate and water and tea coffee with biscuits. Breakfast included almost anything you could ask for, all self service unlesss you require something other than what is on offer. Although we did find that the bacon was a little tough! We parked at park and ride and walked about 6 minutes from the bus station to the hotel, this was a great way to get into the city.

Disliked:Nothing that comes to mind.

Liked:Staff were excellent.

Disliked:Room allocated was disappointing. we booked a room that should have park view and it had street view, and no bath despite being told they had rooms of that calibre with bath and every effort would be made to accommodate.
