Unsatisfactory

Disliked:The day before my stay, I called the hotel to ask whether they offered a government discount for bookings made directly through their website. I was told that no such discount was available. However, when I arrived at the hotel and spoke with the staff, they confirmed that they do offer a government discount, which would have reduced the rate to nearly half of what I paid. As a result, I ended up paying significantly more than I should have. In addition, as soon as I entered my room, I noticed an unpleasant smell. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, and the room was not stocked with enough toiletries for the stay.
