Excellent value for money in a prime location

Liked:My stay at Hotel Mendos was overall very positive, and the absolute highlight is the fantastic location. Being right next to the Oktogon metro station makes getting around Budapest incredibly quick and easy. The room itself was very pleasant—the bed was highly comfortable, which is essential after a long day of exploring the city. Breakfast was also very good, tasty and with a solid selection. The real star of the stay, however, was the terrace, which offers a wonderful view of the city and provides a great atmosphere for relaxing. All in all, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

Disliked:If I had to point out anything negative, it would solely relate to the terrace. While it has huge potential, it needs a bit of maintenance. It would be great to have a sun awning (shade) installed, as the intense sun makes it hard to sit out there during the day. Additionally, the wooden deck boards on the floor are worn out and definitely need to be refurbished or replaced to make the experience perfect.
