Liked:We like how friendly staffs are and helpful on our queries. Breakfast was also good with few concerns on the table cloths cleanliness.

Disliked:A few on my many lists to start with...... We understood that its not a full aircon that they have inside our room but a dual functuoning cooler for summer and heater for winter but the cooling cannot accomodate the capacity of the room that it gets uncomfortable in the evenings sometimes that i have to wake up middle of the night to drink water of being thirsty due warmth and have to sleep half naked to feel cool. We didn't bother to ask to chamge rooms as ive said ita not all the time but sometimes so its hard to complain really but just realised later it wasnt worth the money as ive stayed in other massive city hotels from 3 to 5 ratings and didnt have any problems with heating or cooling. Secondly, the bed was very low.... maybe its part of the hotel motiff being a vintage style hotel to normally low beds? I dont know but as far as ive been to boutique vintage hotels they are the most average normal higher beds than this one. The pillows were also a bit flattened like been there for ages uncomfortable to sleep with. Third, the dinning table were dirty like a few crumbs and maybe sands? Or perhaps some of these brick crumbs on the roofing must have been fall off at some point its scary really imagine u enjoying your food then unknowingly some few powder from the brick roofing fall off mixed on your plate with food? You wont probably noticed it as the dinning room was in bad lighting........ Its hard to compare as ive been to few vintage boutique hotels and they all meet our expectations but this one really disapppinting as weve imagined more comfortable for a pricey amount they charged and in the city centre but if your looking for comfort and sparkling clean hotel dont go to this hotel long term like we did for 5 days. And overnight or 2 would probably be enough i think. Definitely not coming back for comfort and cleanliness concern unless they improved it.

Charming 1920s Retro Vibe in the Heart of the City

Liked:The hotel boasts an amazing location. You truly cannot ask for a better spot. Virtually everything is within easy reach, including the Parliament building, the Danube River, the city park, and Buda Castle. Having the train station literally across the street made traveling incredibly convenient. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with all the necessary amenities, including bathtub. The 1920s retro style furnishings were a beautiful touch. I loved the unique jazz club theme carried throughout the entire hotel, especially the portraits of famous celebrities on the room doors. Our room featured Charlie Chaplin! The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and kind. Having a 24/7 front desk also added great peace of mind to our stay. Highly recommended!

Disliked:The view from our room was quite poor, as it looked directly onto an old, shabby building next door. If you are used to a rich, hearty breakfast, the options here might disappoint you. The buffet lacked variety, with no fish or spreads available. On the positive side, they nailed the essentials like fresh coffee, good scrambled eggs, and a nice selection of cold cuts.
