Liked:Staff were incredibly helpful. I had fallen and hurt my ankle and they had given me ice to help. The room was very well clean and the temperate was cool.

Disliked:That even the standard rooms didnt have a fridge, which is expected in the majority of standard rooms.

Disappointing

Liked:The room was big, the AC worked really well and it had an ironing board in the room which was very useful to us. The hotel was a 15 min walk from the city centre and a direct train to King Baudouin stadium where we saw BTS for 2 nights.

Disliked:Unfortunately there was a lot of things that could be better. The room didn't have mini fridge, and clearly needed renovations as our windows were cracked pretty badly. The view was directed to a wall which was a little disappointing. The shower clearly needs renovations too as it was full of limescale and the water pressure wasn't good. The breakfast was not good. There was only one milk option (cow milk), the cheeses were all burnt from the refrigerator so they were hard to eat. Honestly not worth the 23 euros so we only had it the one time. Lobby and corridors had a funny smell like old wood/building, we are used to hotels smelling good so every time we went in it was a little shocking. One day we went down to the reception to ask for room cleaning, though we left the Make My Room sign outside the door, and when we got back late from our concert nothing had been cleaned or changed. Because we had no clean towels, we called the reception again to ask for some new towels and they told us to go down to the lobby and get them which was strange. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless but don't think we will be coming back. Definitely should not be considered a 4 star hotel.

It did the job for our city break but I wouldn’t go back.

Liked:The location was very convenient. The breakfasts and restaurant meals were good. The bar staff were very friendly. Following a problem with our rooms the staff made a partial refund and we appreciated the way they dealt with us.

Disliked:I booked three rooms for three couples for four nights. None of us had hot water to shower in the mornings or after we’d arrive back after a hot day of sightseeing. I got the impression that the staff were aware of this problem prior to us booking in so gave us a complimentary upgrade. As this turned out it was not quite the treat we expected. Hotel and room were tired and in need of redecoration. One of the other couples had a glass shower door that had come off the runners.

Disliked:Unfortunately, the elevator was broken so we had to walk 6 flight of stairs (but the staff offered to bring our suitcases). The toilet is in a different room then the rest of the bathroom.
