AVOID THIS HOTEL

Liked:We are in this hotel right now. Please read the other reviews ( we didn’t) & don’t go. Major renovations are underway so there is no aircon in the room. Temperature is unbearable so we have to have windows wide open which means massive noise pollution from the street. We asked reception for a fan - they did not provide one. We have a faulty bathroom bulb which flickers on and off like disco lights! We asked reception to change it - they did not. Shower temperature is extremely difficult to control - you either boil or freeze. Lift broke down on our second day - we have had to walk up & down 4 flights of stair wells which are undergoing renovation - loose handrails, gaps in the floor & exposed wiring making it feel very unsafe. Staff did not even put a sign on the lift saying that it had broken down to save you the time spent pushing buttons & wondering whether or not it was coming. Website claims breakfast is on the 7th floor with panoramic views - it’s actually in the basement!! Other reviewers have stated they had tea/coffee facilities in the room (& bathrobes!) - we did not. 2 bottles of water were in the room when we arrived but they were never replaced each day. Reception staff have either been surly or promised to fix things & didn't. Don’t stay here!

Liked:Terrible place to stay…staff not willing to help upon checkout since lift didnt work

Disliked:Nothing was good about the place…will never book again…and will never recomend anyone of this place…
