Horrible Staff and treatment of guests

Liked:From the very beginning at check in, the staff was incredibly rude and un-inviting. We attended a baseball tournament for GMB and were required to “stay to play” so had no other choice than to book at a participating hotel. You’d think that a hotel that signs up to be a host would be use to having kids and families. They immediately told us that we better “keep our kids in check” or we’d be removed from the premises. The female afternoon/evening manager yelled at our group of boys on multiple occasions instead of talking to an adult. They were the only children in the pool but yet scolded for using foam pool toy balls. Apparently there is a “no playing or having fun” rule that isn’t posted but should be. The second night we were there we gathered in the lobby to mingle and the same female manager yelled at all the adults to shut up because she couldn’t hear an old man trying to ask her something. Instead of just politely asking the adults to keep it down, she screamed at everyone. It was not quiet hours and the adults were not being overly loud. It just continued from there. We were all treated as second class humans and like we didn’t belong from the beginning. I will NOT ever stay at this location again and most likely will avoid the chain completely after that. I’ve never been so disappointed in other adults and the way that they treated guests and thought that it was appropriate.
