Liked:The apartment was exeptionally clean, well decorated, stylish. Spacious bedroom, sitting room, well equipped kitchen with new appliances. Nice double shower over the tub. We liked the pristine bedlinen. Location is excellent, close to shops, restaurants, short walk only from a lovely sandy beach. The owner was very helpful!

Not what we expected

Disliked:Our stay was completely ruined due to misleading listing photos and undisclosed safety hazards. The primary access to this apartment requires climbing a steep, exposed, industrial metal fire escape in a back alley, followed by dirty, unpainted internal stairs. None of this is shown or mentioned in the listing. Attempting to navigate these exposed metal stairs with heavy luggage, supplies, and a 7-month-old baby was a severe safety hazard, and my 6-year-old nearly tripped on the way down. While the property inside is okay, it definitely does not look as fresh, clean, or high-end as advertised. The listing photos appear heavily edited or AI-generated—especially looking through the windows—giving a completely false impression of the actual condition and surroundings. We could not risk our children's safety, so we had to leave immediately. My kids were heartbroken and deeply disappointed. We spent 3 stressful hours in the car trying to find alternative accommodation in Bournemouth, but everywhere was fully booked, forcing us to make the long drive back home to Manchester. The host did eventually agree to a full refund after we left, but the listing remains deeply misleading. If you have young children, an infant, heavy luggage, or mobility issues, do not book this property.

Liked:The flat by itself is old, but ok. Clean, white bedding and towels. It had everything necessary. Grocery store just cross the road. 15min walking to the beach. We really enjoyed playing table games which you can find in the kitchen.

Disliked:Despite the flat is nice and tidy, the entrance is disgusting. Getting to the flat from the back of the building where are all rubbish bins, up the dirty metal stairs. The lobby is very dirty and smelly. It was very unpleasant going in and out
