Liked:Quiet neighborhood and close to Chautauqua Park. Very easy check in and check out process. Even though we checked in late.

Disliked:We can hear when other guests bang their door or walking at the upper floor.

Liked:Boulder Twin Lakes Inn is a hidden gem tucked back into a quiet and established neighborhood with plenty of mature green trees (this time of year). My wife and I needed to be in Gunbarrel the next morning so the location was perfect for us. The room was freshened up with a new vanity and wardrobe/armoire, while the other furniture was broken in and comfortable (especially the beds, we both slept wonderfully!). Plenty of hot water for a morning shower. Internet was relatively fast and dependable so we could get some work done. I liked that everything was mostly self service, including check in. While it's an older property, it's clear that someone is caring for it and working to improve it. It's a great value and we'll definitely return!

Disliked:The room could use some sheers or blinds instead of single blackout curtains- we were on the ground floor so a little privacy while letting light in would have been nice (we had a random kid peeking in our windows). It was an unusually humid day and the room did smell slightly stale. There was a sign for a hot tub but it looked like the water hadn't been changed in months, which seemed like a small oversight considering how well-kept the rest of the property was.
