Liked:The bed was very convenient. You still have some privacy and space to lock your luggage.

Disliked:It’s quite expensive, the bathrooms could be cleaner.

Functional, straightforward, unbeatable location

Liked:Location is supreme. You will not find anything better for the price point. I just needed a bed and this worked fine for that. They do towel laundry everyday so that’s nice. The people I met here were even better ! :)

Disliked:That being said, it is very expensive for a hostel but expectable given the city. Also, there is no security whatsoever for your belongings / someone can open your curtain anytime, including while you sleep. Luckily I did not have anything stolen but I was suprised at how there was no lockable cabinets/storage etc. The bathrooms on my floor didn’t have (working) fans so they got muggy during showers. There are no windows you can open to the outside from the dorm as well so I would have appreciated fresher air.

Uncomfortable, I’m very tired. You share a room with other 17 people which they do not specify. 17 people with different

Liked:I liked that the location was close to downtown and to north station.

Disliked:Dirty, bathrooms were always dirty, storage drawers were full of dirt and hairs, elevator didn’t work when I first got there, had to carry my bag 6 floors, stairs were also full of dirt. The sheets were never changed nor did they make the bed when they cleaned the room, I’ve stayed in other hostels and after cleaning the bed was always made.

The staff are excellent which is a big help. The place is lovely and clean. I had a wonderful experience there. Cheers!

Liked:My second time here. It is an incredibly convenient place to stay. The place is not complicated.

Disliked:On a personal note being 70 years old the single beds were a tad hard to get in and out. So if you are on the old side like me may I suggest you choose a bunk bed (lower)
