Frequent visitor and favorite Boise stay!

Liked:Small but accommodating staff is always welcoming and helpful. Food is excellent and breakfast is above and beyond.

Disliked:Inner hallway always smells damp.

Clean, Comfortable, Great Location

Liked:We really liked the location. It was fairly quiet, but within walking distance to restaurants and the green belt. We loved the complimentary use of bikes for riding along the green belt. It was only a few blocks to get to the trail and was a great way to end the day. Staff was very friendly. I greatly enjoyed eating off "real" plates with actual silverware for breakfast. I loved the aesthetic-room just looked "put together" and I love the idea of refurbishing an older hotel. Room size was nice and the mattress was great.

Disliked:Can't think of a thing!

Liked:Fantastic redone travel lodge. Not on the center, but close enough. And free town bikes if you want them.

Disliked:There are newer, nicer hotels so their pricing is maybe a tad high… but I do love The Modern.

Great location and nice stay in Boise

Liked:The Modern Hotel was a nice surprise. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and you can use the hotel’s bikes free of charge to explore the city. The location was perfect, would definitely recommend!

Disliked:Breakfast was a little small. In the afternoon, the outdoors terrace can only be used by bar guests.
