Brief but memorable.

Liked:Welcoming host. Lovely family house. Spacious and comfortably furnished room. Short walk to centre, river and restaurants.

Disliked:Parking nearby was a challenge. Sadly no air conditioning as our stay was during a heatwave and we had to leave two days earlier than planned.

Lovely mid cuty stop over stay

Liked:Such a lovely calm place tucked away in the central area of Blois, very friendly and kind hostess. BReakfast was delightful

Disliked:It was a bit tricky getting the e bikes up steep steps to the safe parking/charging area

A very French experience

Liked:The house is lovely with a quirky theme. Very comfortable, with everything you could need. Our bedroom was a great size as was the bathroom . Good lighting, sockets, mirrors , clean modern comfy, beautifully thought through & yet i still felt a wee bit uncomfortable. From the get go i dont think i got off to a good start with the owner , tho i tried hard with my school girl French & understand her house rules i wish she had shown a softer side & let me enjoy her beautiful house. The location is great, the house is beautiful but it misses a wee bit atmosphere espwcially in the breakfast room , ie some music would make it a more relaxing experiencing.

Disliked:A wonderful property, run like clockwork but more relaxation towards guests please who want to enjoy a beautiful experience.

Heartily reccomend!

Liked:Chantal was so very sweet. I am an early riser and before it was time for breakfast, she noted that I was sitting in the garden and came and brought me an espresso and some cookies. Her gardens were beautiful, and the place is very artfully decorated. The location is really terrific and she was very clear about the parking as it turns out we were able to get street parking very easy at this time of year.
