Terrible Ownership and Customer Service

Liked:The facility was in deplorable condition, and the front desk customer service was atrocious. My room was assigned on the second floor. When I arrived upstairs, the carpet and entire floor reeked of carpet cleaner and marijuana, which caused me to get a headache. The second floor also had no air-conditioning except directly in the rooms . I tried to get used to it, and even went down stairs to the gym, which had nothing but broken machines and a few weights. After returning and having been t here for a couple of hours, I decided to complain. When I complained at the customer service desk, I got tremendous pushback, a rolling of eyes, no smiles, only contempt. I then attempted to get a refund, but I was denied because I had been there for almost "3 hours". The front desk person called the manager, who said she did not have time to talk, so the front desk then called the owner, who talked to me with great disdain, just like the front desk. He said he would offer me a partial refund after he came into the office the next day. I left and found another place that provided much better customer service and a clean facility. The next morning I had to continue my travel. At about 1030, after I had been gone for almost two hours, the owner sent an email offering me a $25.00 refund, which was about 1/4 of the cost of the room. It's not about the money. It's about the principle. Not only was the place disgusting, but the owner on down to the front desk personnel were unkind and disrespectful. Avoid this place at all costs.
