A charming experience in a nice, safe, and convenient area of Berlin. Highly recommended!

Liked:Ok, so very pleased with this room and hotel. Very close to the Friedrichstraße train station. I mean very close. Tip, there is a small bridge that goes under the tracks at the station so you can easily cross the river instead of walking out of your way to get to the hotel. Very nice area. Clean. Walkable to so much of the city. Just follow the Spree river in either direction and you will so so many very cool things. I only needed to take the train to a few destinations but for the most part everything was close by and walkable. Like the TV tower, the reichstag building, museum island, etc. Very happy with the room. As for style it was a bit dated but that's one of the things I liked about it. It felt authentic and not a homogenized attempt at modernism. The room was warm and spacious. It had a decent sized closet that you could hang or put your clothes on multiple shelves. A small bench. A table for working. Easy access to outlets. The room had a street view but a very quite street. Also included a small mini-fridge or mini-bar. So you can buy food and drinks and keep them cool. a rarity in most European hotel rooms. And a decent, competitive price for the entire stay.

Disliked:My only complaint was the bed. While it was very big it was a bit hard so tougher to get comfortable at night.

Well worth a visited one day and then I got the chance to see the beautiful view and the amazing people

Liked:I quite like this location. I like the hotel too it’s got a sort of traditional German feel.

Disliked:I think the rooms could be a little bit updated, particularly with more plugs near the bed

The strength of this hotel was the location

Liked:The staff were very nice and helpful but the most outstanding feature of this hotel was the location. It was within walking distance of many of the main attractions, including Museum Island, and had a large number of restaurants in the area. It was also close to the river, which made for pleasant walking. It had a nice courtyard area that was available for sitting.

Disliked:The room we were put in was not at all like the picture in booking.com. It was considerably smaller, had only a single chair for sitting. It was on the street, across from a restaurant that was quite noisy late into the night, which meant we couldn't keep a window open. That made the room very hot, although there was a portable fan that helped with that. Some services were only intermittently available.
