Great Stay!

Liked:Our room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location. It is within walking distance to several historical sites and also within walking distance to several restaurants for dinner.

Definitley our home from home in Berlin - despite the issues we had

Liked:Our second stay here - again a pleasure. Spacious room. Big windows. Comfortable furniture and bed. Caring and competent staff. All the extras appropriate to a hotel of this standing.

Disliked:Inadequate oversight of the room before arrival: A curtain that had come loose from the rail and let in light at night. A lighting system not functioning properly - side lights could not work independently of the main control Main lights far too bright and could not be dimmed. Last day the toilet blocked and would not flush Reception tried to address these issues but it didn't happen during our stay, so this was disppointing

Perfect base for getting to know a great city.

Liked:Great location within easy range of Alexanderplatz, Dom, Museum Island and the river plus the sound of church bells. Nice big room. Decent breakfast.

Disliked:Tiny toilet and shower room.
