Liked:We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, everything exceeded our expectations. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the atmosphere is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hospitality truly made our experience special. A heartfelt thank you to Sree Lakshmi and the entire staff for their outstanding service. Sree Lakshmi was exceptionally warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Serene and Perfect family getaway.. Peaceful, beautiful and all round rejuvenation.

Liked:Taj Bekal blends a private, uncrowded beach with tranquil backwaters for an authentic Kerala stay. The beach is pristine and offer excellent views. Rooms are spacious, airy, and tastefully furnished, many with private plunge pools perfect for quiet morning dips. The play area is safe and well-maintained, good for younger children. Service is warm and efficient—staff handle requests promptly and thoughtfully. The restaurant serves fresh, well-prepared Kerala specialties alongside international dishes; breakfast is generous with live cooking stations. Minor dampness on some walkways after rain, but overall a relaxing, family-friendly resort highly recommended for a restful escape.

Short Holiday to Bekal

Liked:The resort location right by the sea is the USP. This was our third visit to this resort. Right from the first visit the staff was very welcoming and made us feel at home, which became the reason of our frequent visits. Right from the pickup to airport drop was organized and updates given regularly. We would like to thank Muhammed Kunhi, who came for our pickup, for his safe driving and friendly nature. We were upgraded to a Premium Villa with a plunge pool and garden view giving us the privacy and quiet atmosphere. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well decorated for our welcome, which gave us a very special feeling. As it was very humid for the first few days, having your own pool was very nice as you could go for a dip anytime you wanted. We would like to thank Mr. Siminione, Ramitraj & Bilal for keeping the room spotlessly clean & Mr. Attivaran for reserving the room for us we stayed in. At the time of check in we were welcomed by Mr. Ashok Vasudevan, GM. The check in was very smooth and handled were efficiently by Mr. Jason & Ms. Srilakshmi. We would like to thank a few people for making our stay memorable. Mr. Avdhesh Jha, Mr. Marian, Ms. Swagata, Ms. Alisha, Ms. Ishika, Ms. Sneha, Ms. Sneha Bastola & Ms. Shibani from the Back Water Cafe, Mr. Shabbir from Ivory Bar, Mr. Ganesh from By the Bay, Chef Don, Chef Harit, Executive Chef Mr. Anbalagan & Chef Fenny.

Memories to Cherish – Outstanding Service and Care

Liked:We had an amazing stay at the hotel, and what truly made it unforgettable was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. We celebrated our son's 4th birthday during our stay, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From the thoughtful arrangements to the warm, attentive service, they made the celebration incredibly special for our family. A special thanks to the Backwater Restaurant staff, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm made every meal enjoyable and made us feel truly welcomed. Thank you to the entire team for making our son's birthday such a memorable occasion. We will cherish these memories and look forward to visiting again!
