Best lodging experience EVER!

Liked:First time staying in Beaufort, decided to stay over in route to HHI. The Inn was a fabulous stay, the place is really its own community. Staff was excellent and super friendly as well. After getting to HHI for the first time, we would have preferred to spend our entire vacation at the Beaufort Inn. Definitely coming back and highly recommending to friends and family.

Wonderful stay

Liked:Lovely hotel with spacious rooms and beautiful gardens. Close proximity to a multitude of great restaurants within a block or two. Free parking too. Continental breakfast included delicious homemade biscuits, sausage gravy, fruits and coffee. Staff were very friendly and on the ball. We’ll be back!

Liked:A very nice and clean Inn in downtown Beaufort, SC. Walking distance to the river and many downtown shops and restaurants. They will allow pets in the cottages.

The Caretaker's Cottage is not suitable for a good night's rest.

Liked:We were "upgraded" to the Caretakers cottage which was later described to us as the "cottage the previous maintenance man had hoped would be hit by lightning"!! It was not updated, it was not clean, the floor boards were loose, the bed was super loud, lots of black hair in the shower and on the floor, and so much more!! We tried to leave as soon as the sun came up, but were delayed by a flat tire as we were told to park on a very uneven and broken brick driveway. The good parts of our stay were the maintenance man was wonderful as he pumped up our tire so we could get to the tire shop and they didn't charge us for the horrible experience.
