A good hotel close to the city centre.

Liked:The hotel is in a very central location close to the old town of Bayonne. Air conditioning in the room was good. We booked a basic double room but upgraded to a larger one. The description on the hotel website is accurate about room sizes. There was a covered bicycle storage area.

Convenient.and Smart

Liked:Quite a smart hotel right on the river. An easy walk up the river to the main restaurant and shopping area. Also convenient for the stadium. Big secure car park but they need to come up with a way of letting you in when you first arrive without a code. Big rooms with comfy bed, and a kettle!

Disliked:Air conditioning is not able to deal with the heat. It was "only" 30 degrees outside when we were there - I hate to think what it was like with the very high temperatures over the summer.
