Would never stay or recommend this property . Extremely disappointed for many reasons.

Liked:Location was in walking distance , lots of stairs to navigate. We love Bath , but would stay in a different part next time.

Disliked:The true description of the property would have been beneficial , as if we had known the garden was not accessible, due to damage and the hand rail totally covered by overgrown bushes, and my daughter is visually impaired, so she could not use the garden, as this was too much a risk factor for her. we would not have chosen this property. we contacted the property multiple times during our stay and they asked for photos and videos , which we supplied and then contact from then stopped. No response on how this could be rectified during our stay. We had multiple issues, from dirty laundry bags were left inside front door when we checked in , and bin bags left at the front door. Dirty bedding and floors not cleaned . Shower in upstairs bathroom had no plastic edge sealing strip against the bath , so water spilled onto floor, again a hazard. The garden gate could only be open less than half way , due to a broken top paving flag. The property looked like it had been left in this state for a while. This was not recent , due to looking very and very unkempt. We could use this entrance due to damage and risk hazzard. A grubby house both inside and out and very disappointed with lack of contact from company to resolve these matters. They asked for photos , which we sent while we stayed , but nothing resolved. Then when we returned had the audacity to ask hope we enjoyed our stay and would we write a review! So here it is

Very disappointing and did not live up to the advertising of it

Liked:The house would be great for a group of friends or family who happy to walk into the town and were happy to negotiate many stairs. The house had many facilities available, and the bedrooms looked quite nice.

Disliked:The location was not as easy or near as I had expected, there were a lot of stairs to get up to the house which I was unaware of. I had expected to be in the town itself. The key lock box was positioned near the the ground which made it very difficult to access and see the numbers. The house was a tired with stained carpets and would massively benefit from a refurb. I did not like the distance from the parking to the house or the general area around it. We were mature women on our own who decided that the house was not as expected and therefore felt unable to stay there, so we left and checked into a hotel

Two night stay

Liked:The shower was good and it was tidy.

Disliked:There were lots of steep steps to access the property and to walk into Bath which wasn't mentioned at the point of booking. My mum is 75 and struggled with these, especially when taking our luggage as we couldn't park outside the property. Parking was set back and again we had to climb several steps. The property was clean although there were stains on the carpets and coffee table. It was warm when we stayed and the upstairs bedrooms were very hot and uncomfortable which made it difficult to sleep. There was an electric fan which was extremely noisy so couldn't really be used. However, it was cooler on the second night. It's not really in central Bath - it took about 15 minutes to walk to the cathedral. We also had to walk through a subway which was slightly concerning for three women at night. It was fine as a base but I won't be booking out again due to the location and the steps.
