Very good stay staff were helpful

Liked:It’s location was central for my needs.

Disliked:Perhaps they could change the lobby mat because I did have a slip on the marble floor as it was raining outside

Lovely hotel in the heart of Barry

Liked:Even though we only stayed for one night with a late check-in, we had a good experience at The Mount Rooms. The room was comfortable and came with everything we needed, making it a perfect short stay . The staff was very accommodating, helping us settle in smoothly despite the late arrival . Their friendly and helpful attitude really made our stay more pleasant. Another big plus is the location, The Mount Rooms is very close to Barry train station, offering easy access for travelers arriving by rail . This makes it convenient for both locals and visitors exploring the area. Overall, it’s a great option for a comfortable, hassle-free stay near Barry.

Nice but room was more like a cupboard.

Liked:The location, close to a pub where we could get a evening meal and breakfast as the hotel does not offer breakfast,

Disliked:The bed was so small , we booked a double room, but the bed was only a small double 4’ wide. And you could only get into it from one side. As a couple this made the sleeping arrangements a bit uncomfortable. I had to climb over hubby to get out of bed . The room is only suitable for single occupants.
