Lovely Stay!!

Liked:Myself and my daughter stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful time!! We were given a room on a lower floor as requested at check in. The room was very clean and we had a lovely mini bar which was unexpected!! The beds were really comfortable so we slept well. We used the swimming pool on the rooftop which was amazing. We loved the location which was minutes away from a shopping centre and lots of amenities.

Impersonal Experience Meets Terrible Customer Service

Liked:Stayed for four days, and wish I'd taken a Marriott or an AirBnb instead. In short: - The elevator takes 47 years to get anywhere. Not only is it super slow, but all the cleaning staff use them with their big trolleys since they don't have a dedicated elevator of their own. If you book here, try to book on the ground floor. - Terrible customer service. I came to the lobby restaurant at 9.15 AM today and asked for the breakfast menu, and the dark-haired waitress snapped at me and said ,"Can you give me a second, I haven't even opened yet?" - I then went to the restaurant on the 1st floor and had my breakfast there - at a 20 euro charge. - The hotel is far away from the city center and it's a 10-20 euro taxi to get anywhere. So even though it might appear 'cheap' compared to other BCN hotels, you'll need to budget another 20-50 euros per day for transport, which can build up. - The beach nearby isn't accessible at the moment due to construction all along the strip. - The receptionists are not exactly smiling or pleasant either. - I asked one of the cleaning ladies to clean my room as I was going out, and when I got back two hours later, this wasn't done. She then told me she was on her lunch break. - At 11 AM today, I asked for a late check-out, and they told me it'll be a 50 euro charge for three hours. A charge? For a late check-out? That's the first time I've heard that, having travelled to about 40 countries around the world. Perhaps I'm just spoiled, having lived in Dubai for thirteen years, but I absolutely do not recommend Barcelona Princess.

Worth the money - good room with great location.

Liked:Good room with a great view, beverages in the fridge were included with the stay. Most of all - best location. Tram stop was hardly 200m away and nearest metro was a 3 min walk
