Night manager should have tried harder to resolve the situation. The day manager handled it well

Liked:About 18 hours after I made mention of the awful state of the room they originally took me to, the next morning the manager moved me to another room, a suite, an excellent room, at no extra charge.

Disliked:The first room they took me to upon arrival was awful. It smelled like mold and as if it had not been opened or aired out for months. It was not inhabitable. Sheets were also dirty. The night manager offered me no viable alternative, so I had to spend the night in that unsanitary room

Cheap for a reason

Liked:Nothing

Disliked:Room smelt intensely of damp, like a chest infection waiting to happen. Room was tatty, floorboards were broken, not well maintained at all. Balcony door wouldn’t lock Staff offered to spray to get rid of the smell, never came. Couldn’t offer another room. Decided to leave due to room condition, said I would be refunded but then it got rejected. Had to justify a refund Not acceptable
