Good Hotel, Not Great Location

Liked:Hotel Reseda Review 52/70=74/100 Location- 7/10 The Location of the hotel is a little bit away from the attractions of Paris but with a simple Metro 2 minutes away you can pretty much get everywhere within 40 minutes, sadly when we were staying the metro was closed so we had to get a replacement bus, which did add 20 minute on each day but was very regular and not too busy, plenty of signs to tell you where to stand for it, all in all could have been a lot worse, the hotel is around an hour and half away from Versailles so keep that in mind before booking Excursions- N/A Food+Drink-6/10 We tried the breakfast once in our 5 night stay as we were having to rush off early most mornings, we found it was a good selection of options with cereal, toast, sausages, beans, crossaints all available, all set up nice and clean and easy to use, the taste wouldn’t blow you away but is a good way to start the day and I doubt you would find anything better nearby in the morning As for the food around Paris we were very disappointed to be honest, we aren’t the most adventurous but we were looking forward to some lovely fresh made sandwiches and everything was pre made and stale very disappointing Can’t say much on drinks as we mainly spent the week thirsting on water and coco-cola We would always be back around 5pm/6pm from Paris as it is quite a long journey back from some places, we found the food in the Mall next door was good enough with Maccies obviously being a good option, the other places we tried were o’tacos which had some nice chicken however the cheese sauce they added to dishes wasn’t great tasting, we also tried Nebab Kebab, my girlfriend said the burger was really nice and the chips were as good as maccies however the chicken as really poor would not recommend, out of the places we ate at night over the 5 days the pick of the bunch for me was actually just outside the Mall at a little hotdog truck selling halal meals, we tried the burger chips and chicken wings, all were delicious, but the chips were heavenly, be warned it is a rather greasy meal I wouldn’t say there is a lot of options around the hotel for food but you could survive if you do come back earlier as we did each day Staff- 10/10 The Staff were good but wouldn’t really acknowledge you unless you went up the desk, the cleaners were always friendly and knocked on the door before coming in to clean Pool Area/Daytime Entertainment-N/A Evening Entertainment-N/A Cleanliness-10/10 The Hotel was kept very clean and the Cleaners did a fantastic job in tbe room with fresh towels, replacement loo rolls and bed made every day Room- 5/10 The room is nothing to shout about, a view of the motorway, very small and difficult to move around in with a small toilet and shower, it’s not bad but nothing special, the aircon works which was lovely, big downside was no where to store your clothes we used the desk that was by the window Weather-7/10 We stayed at this hotel between the 6th of May and 11th of May, the weather was great for the first 4 days with sunshine pretty much every day however the last day we had torrential rain and got soaked Prices-7/10 in general the prices were fair until you got close to the attractions then the prices shot up which is understandable, around the Trocadéro/Effiel Tower area expect to pay a premium for lunch items

A fine hotel.

Liked:A clean room with a good bed on the top floor. More traffic noise than Campanile hotel on the opposite side. (could be the window, maybe other rooms are more quiet) Sufficient breakfast buffet. Bad coffee, but that's personal. Entering and leaving the hotel the staff on the front desk did not reply to my greetings at all. Very impolite.
