A beautiful and welcoming destination and conference centre.

Liked:A Celebration of Nature was held here this weekend. The management and staff went over and above the usual, to make our conference a great success. Each staff person was always ready to help in every way possible. The MacGregor Centre was a perfect venue. We had a display area ready wìth table clithes, plugs, wi-fi and on site technical support. Coffee and tea break with delicious oatcakes were provided, as were delicious boxed lunches. The reception food on Friday was healty and creative- we especially loved the scallops and crisps. The Saturday night banquet food was excellent! Breakfasts at the restaurant were outstanding both days. My husband and I are staying an extra night because the food is so good, the room (#53) is clean and comfortable and staff are ALL so friendly and helpful. I rarely give a 5 rating but did. The one thing I might request is for a hand rail on all steps. The scenery and choice of activities are great.Thanks to all who work here.

An ok stay.

Liked:We have stayed before in the main house. This time we were in another building that had been renovated - the room was fine. We had dinner in the restaurant - we ordered only starters as we wanted to enjoy the dessert. When we went to order dessert we were told they had nothing on the menu - and could only offer us a gluten free brownie - perhaps they could have told us the menu wasn't complete and they didn't have dessert - we would have ordered a main course instead. Otherwise the stay was fine.
